FACES OF THE RIVER
Along the border between Canada and Northern Minnesota is a great waterway that has served as a wilderness highway for centuries. On a ten-day canoe trip through this magnificent region, I was greeted by these lily pads, which were protected from the turbulent waters by the granite rock wall.
